Dr. Rusul Albazi, BDS, AEGD
Dr. Rusul Albazi, BDS, MS, AEGD, is a highly skilled general dentist with extensive experience in clinical practice and academia. At our Lincoln Park dental office, Dr. Albazi provides a comprehensive range of dental services. She recently served as Chief Resident in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at Temple University’s Maurice Kornberg School of Dentistry, where she honed her expertise in advanced dental techniques and patient care.
Dr. Albazi earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Al-Mustansiriya University in Baghdad. She then joined a program for Masters of Oral Health Sciences at Temple University and completed a certificate in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at Temple University’s Maurice Kornberg School of Dentistry. Her comprehensive training has provided her with a deep understanding of various dental disciplines, including prosthodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery.
In addition to her formal education, Dr. Albazi has pursued numerous certifications. These include implant placement and restoration, nitrous oxide administration, anterior smile design, digital dentistry, Botox and fillers, and cosmetic dentistry. She is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the International Team for Implantology, and the Iraqi Dental Association.
With over a decade of practical experience, Dr. Albazi has worked as a general dentist in both private practice and clinical settings in Iraq. She has also held research positions at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Her patient-centered approach to dentistry focuses on providing comprehensive care that meets both aesthetic and functional needs. She is passionate about helping individuals achieve healthy, confident smiles and is known for her meticulous attention to detail and compassionate care.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Albazi is deeply committed to community service and dental education. She has volunteered with organizations such as HIAS, UNICEF, and various nonprofit clinics, dedicating her time and expertise to helping those in need.
